Modifying Length of Part, Changing Profile N Material of Parts

1) Modifying the Length of Part

- Select the Part to be modified, ensure direct modification is ON

-Select and drag Handle Reference to the Desired Location

-As you can see Beam's length gets changed

2)CHANGING PROFILE

-Double Click on the part to access it's properties

-Click on Profile....Select to access Select Profile dialog

-From Here, we can change the dimensions of the profile (In this case - Height N Width), We can force Tekla use Industry Standardized values for profile dimensions by checking "Use industry standardized values ony"

-From here, Profile type can be selected

-Click on Apply, Then OK to Apply Properties

-Then Click on Modify, Apply and then OK to change the properties to parts

CHANGING MATERIAL OF PARTS

1) Double Click on the part to access it's properties and Click on Material.....Select button

2) Select Material from List and then Click on Apply N OK

3)Then Click on Modify, Apply N OK to agree with changes made.
